Thanks to a current bestelling book, session musicians from the 60's and 70's era are now becoming more than just nameless and faceless pioneers. L.A. had The Wrecking Crew in that era, Nashville had "The A Team", and Motown had The Funk Brothers. Another of the great studio players from Memphis in those days has passed on.
